Product Description:
LT-171A, VINYLTRIMETHOXYSILANE BLEND, is an unsaturated silane developed and produced independently by Hubei BlueSky New Material INC. It is a silane specially designed for cable material industry to cross-link PE and PEX. Its components include in VINYLETRIMETHOXYSILANE and Catalyst(used for moisture curing).

Product Application
It’s reacted with PE or other unsaturated polymers(such as PP, PVC, etc.), and to graft silane onto the polymers, after moisture curing, it cross-links with each other to form a cross-linked polymer. It is generally treated with a water bath or steam both, and the curing cross-linking can also be achieved in the moisture of natural environment.
Pre-treating VTMO and catalyst in advance is more convenient for use.
Commonly used in the production of cables, pipes, etc.
It can reduce the process of pre-crosslinking in extruders, improve the efficiency of grafting and increase the rate of output.
The polymer treated with LT-171A can improve tear resistance, friction resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and aging resistance.
